The holiday season is a season of joy and goodwill. As the festivities of Christmas merge with the joyful hope of a new year, the whole world celebrates life and the innate human desire for happiness and well-being. However, there are many who are trapped in poverty and challenging social conditions that render the joy of the season elusive year after year. It is particularly severe with children, especially in the inner cities, urban slums and villages. This concert is designed make this year’s Christmas an unforgettable event for at least one thousand children in person, and over one million across mass and social media, featuring ChildSpark Choir, and other notable musicians from the host and migrant communities in the US. The strategy is to build a community around this event and raise funds through direct donations, music downloads and merchandizing; to bring hearty cheers, send food and gifts to children in the US and around the world.
